Camilla
came to us via the S Lazy R Ranch in Walnut Springs, Texas.
She started off with a bang. At 9 months old she won Reserve
Champion Jr. Heifer at both the MTLA Spring Show and the BOTT show
in Kansas. Her Dam was a 2 Time All Age Female at the ITLA
Championship show. To date, she has given us a heifer every
year. Two of the four have carried on Camilla's rich Parker
Brown coloring. She is one of best producing females on the
Ranch. She is set to be AI'ed to Phenomenon for her 2009 calf.
Keep an eye out next year for her new addition.
Tiger
Rose was bought from the Easy Money Longhorn Ranch, in Olkmulgee
Oklahoma. She now resides at the Cresson, Texas Location on
the AK Ranch. Tiger has performed very well on the ITLA show
circuit including several championship places. Her 2007
heifer calf
(Wilma) was recently given the
title of Grand Champion Jr. Heifer at the 2008 ITLA Championship
show in Glen Rose, Texas.
Hopscotch
came to us from the S Lazy R Ranch in Chalk Mountain Texas.
She is very sweet and calm natured. Currently this nice little
heifer is being shown in both youth and open haltered classes on the
ITLA show circuit. With excellent early horn growth, you can
see the tips already starting to kick back. This heifer shows
a lot of potential and we look forward to seeing her progress
through the years.
Glory came to the AK Ranch at the age of 7 months. She
has been shown consistently ever since. In the show ring,
Glory has taken many awards throughout the years including, Champion
Jr. Cow at the 2007 ITLA Championship show in Glen Rose, Texas.
Other awards consist of All Age Female, Champion Senior Cow, Reserve
Grand Champions, and numerous 1st places within her classes.
Glory is the so called "Universal Baby Sitter" here at the ranch.
All of her offspring have done very well in the show ring as well.
Glory has a very docile temperament which is passed along to all her
calves. Glory was just crowned Grand Champion All Age Female
at the 2008 ITLA Championship Show in Glen Rose, Texas.
